Description
Wasserpflanzen, Fische, Teichinsekten – anders als bei den Landlebewesen bleiben die Bewohner der limnischen Lebensräume vielen Menschen verborgen und sind oft auch weniger erforscht. Nicht weniger als 400.000 deutsche Sporttaucher:innen erkunden mit hohem Interesse und mit oft großen biologischen Kenntnissen die heimischen Binnengewässer.
Der LakeExplorer stellt nicht nur kostenlose digitale Hilfsmittel zur Verfügung, um rund 1.000 limnische Tier- und Pflanzenarten zu bestimmen, sondern bietet auch Artensteckbriefe, vertiefende Informationen sowie eine Datenbank zum Melden von Beobachtungen zur Verfügung.
Aber natürlich sind nicht nur Sporttaucher:innen aufgerufen, die Plattform zu nutzen - auch allen anderen naturinteressierten Menschen steht der LakeExplorer zur Nutzung offen.
Data Records
